A memorial is a very personal statement, and it is important that clients feel they can take time to consider the design and wording. I use the computer to present sketches, and this makes it easy to fine tune the layout and ensure that spelling is correct.
A carved roundel is a good way to include a personalised motif, but I am happy to develop more elaborate designs.
I can make memorials from found or re-purposed stones (subject to permission from the cemetery authorities), and have even worked directly into a rocky outcrop. If there is to be much lettering then it is best to smooth the surface.
